For the third year, Breckenridge Grand Vacations employees and departments stepped up to support our community during the holidays by supporting the Family & Intercultural Resource Center’s (FIRC) Adopt an Angel program and the community Adopt a Family program.
Now in its 23rd year, the Adopt an Angel program served more than 900 children this year, a 16% increase over 2016’s event that gave gifts to 800 children. The Silverthorne Pavilion was transformed into a toy factory where thousands of gifts were given to pre-approved families and children. Santa’s helpers were on hand to spread cheer and help families select their gifts. The few remaining toys from the shopping day were given to local nonprofit organizations who work with children.
