Trip Riggs, Chief Financial Officer

Trip Riggs serves as Chief Financial Officer at Breckenridge Grand Vacations, where he leads financial operations across BGV’s resort portfolio. He came to BGV in 2026 from Aspen Skiing Company, where he served as Senior Vice President of Finance, directing finace across all four mountains in the Roaring Fork Valley.

Trip’s career is rooted in hospitality and service to others. He has worked a hotel front desk and run food in restaurants, earned his degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and began his career in PwC’s hospitality and leisure practice as well as Stonebridge Companies. He spent nine years advancing through the finance organization at Vail Resorts, then held Chief Financial Officer roles at Balfour Senior Living and Omni Hotels & Resorts. Across every role, his focus has been the finance behind luxury experiences: understanding the numbers that let operators deliver for guests, take care of the team, and meet fiscal responsibilities.

Trip gives back to his community through the Colorado Outward Bound School and volunteer work with other nonprofits, and stays active as a long-distance swimmer and rower. He lives in Frisco, Colorado, with his wife, Tara, where they spend most of their free time chasing their twin daughters, Charlotte and Gretchen, up a trail or down a mountain.
