BGV Legacy

Breckenridge Grand Vacations was built upon the belief that success would be determined by the positive impact the company had on its owners and guests, employees and community. BGV now creates Grand vacations for over 30,000 owners and employs over 650 staff members.

  • 1983

    Mike Millisor moves to Breckenridge and works at Beaver Run as a bellman

  • 1984

    Mike Millisor begins selling Gold Point condos

  • 1986

    Rob Millisor joins his brother’s effort to sell out Gold Point and begin developing Grand Timber Lodge

  • 1998

    Mike Dudick sells Breck Magazine and joins the Millisors as Owner and Developer of Grand Timber Lodge

  • 2007

    Land is purchased for the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 and sales launch

  • 2009

    Grand Lodge on Peak 7 phase one opens

  • 2013

    Land is purchased for the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 (Buildings 1 and 2)

  • 2013

    BGV surpasses 20,000 owners

  • 2014

    The Grand Colorado on Peak 8 sales launch

  • 2015

    BGV Gives is created—Philanthropy arm created in honor of late Owner/Developer, Rob Millisor

  • 2016

    Land is purchased for the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 (Building 3)

  • 2016

    First Rob Millisor Heart Health Walk

  • 2016

    Phase one of the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 opens

  • 2022

    Land is purchased for final BGV resort in Breckenridge at the base of the BreckConnect gondola

  • 2023

    BGV surpasses 30,000 owners

  • 2023

    Community Impact Department is created—focus on the “triple bottom line;” People, Planet, Prosperity

  • 2024

    Final BGV resort moved from gondola lot to the Peak 8 Base Area
