Introducing BGV Sustainability

Breckenridge Grand Vacations believes that we have an important role to play in our community. That is why we are so committed to our sustainable efforts. Our mission is to dedicate ourselves to responsible business practices that ensure minimal impact to the local mountain environment by mindful development, resource conservation and waste reduction.

Breckenridge Grand Vacations is one of the largest shareholders in a community solar power array. Partnering with the Town of Breckenridge and Clean Energy Collective, BGV purchased enough solar panels to offset 100% of the electricity consumed at the company’s corporate offices.

The Grand Colorado on Peak 8 has been recognized by Green Globes during the planning and building process for implementing sustainable building practices and energy performance efficiency.

Breckenridge Grand Vacations is a stakeholder in the county’s Climate Action Plan, where goals are discussed to help make Summit County a more sustainable mountain town.
